Florida Independent Living Plan Public Input Meeting

The Disability Resource Center is hosting a public meeting to gather input for the Florida Independent Living Council (FILC) on the existing State Independent Living Plan (SPIL). This meeting is open to individuals with disabilities and other stakeholders in Florida. Key discussion points will include youth transition services, access to employment, and emergency management services.

The FILC is working in partnership with the Centers for Independent Living and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. The SPIL, a three-year plan, is designed to promote common goals, advancing services, and advocacy for people with disabilities throughout the state of Florida.
