JPPAS – Work Incentive

What Is The JPPAS Program?

The James Patrick Memorial Work Incentive Personal Attendant Services & Employment Assistance Program provides financial assistance to persons who are gainfully employed and have severe or chronic disabilities that require assistance from a personal care attendant (PCA) for at least 2 activities of daily living such as self-care, including ambulation, bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, and toileting, and other similar tasks.

Do you qualify for the program?

Eligible Individuals:

  • Must be employed
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and reside in Florida
  • Must be a United States Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
  • Must require personal assistance services for support for at least two activities as defined in F.S. 429.02
  • Must not receive SSI or SSDI
  • Must not receive Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services
